Arun Jaitley health update: Former union minister Arun Jaitley, who was admitted at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is stable and recovering, sources in the government said on Saturday.
The 66-year-old Arun Jaitley was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of AIIMS on Friday morning with complaints of breathlessness and uneasiness.
Earlier on Saturday, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu reached AIIMS. During this, he also talked with the doctors about his health condition. He later tweeted that the doctors of AIIMS have told that Arun Jaitley is being affected by medicine and the condition is stable.
Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan is also in constant touch with the doctors of AIIMS. He returned to the hospital on Saturday. AIIMS says that he is being constantly monitored by the senior doctors of endocrinologist, nephrologist and cardiologist.
