Virat Kohli, the captain of the Indian cricket team, set another record with the 43rd ODI century of his career in the third one-day match against the West Indies. Kohli became the first batsman to score 20,000 international runs in 10 years.

He scored a century on Wednesday to give India a six-wicket victory in the third ODI against the West Indies. Kohli hit an unbeaten 114 and India successfully chased down the 255-run target given under the Duckworth lewis rule to win the series 2–0.

Kohli is followed by former Australia captain Ricky Ponting (18,962) in terms of scoring the most runs in a decade. Former South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis is third on the list with 16,777 runs.

This is followed by Mahela Jayawardene (16,304), Kumar Sangakkara (15,999), Sachin Tendulkar (15,962), Rahul Dravid (15,853) and Hashim Amla (15,185), respectively.
